| Abstract: | This paper is divided into three parts. Part one approaches to the rules in the development of human geography; part two reviews the development of China's human geography in the 1980's; part three, the most important part of this paper-, points out three main fields should be developed in the 1990's: to deepen the study of basic theories as cores of human geography, to develop new fields of human geography and to reconstruct human geography, i.e., to make a balance between economic and non-economic human geographies. |
