On the Heat Balance of Gear Assembly with Forced Lubrication |

| Abstract: | For gear assembly with forced lubrication, the oil temperature at the gearbox inlet and outlet and that at the oil pump inlet and outlet are measured. The heat generated in the oil pump and on the gear engaged surfaces and the heat dissipated are calculated. The relationships between them are discussed. |
