中英茶文化比较与英语教学

本文以中英茶文化对比为例,通过对茶的定义,起源,分类,饮用方式,社交礼仪以及语言层面上的相关习语的研究,发现语言和文化之间联系的紧密性以及中英文化之间一些异同。对一门语言的学习不能脱离它所处的特定文化。文化习得促进语言的习得。此外,了解所学外语国家文化有利于学生进一步认识本国的文化。语言学习和文化学习应是密不可分,相辅相成的。

A Comparison of Chinese and British Tea Culture and Its Effect on English Study

In this paper,a comparison of Chinese and British tea culture is made through the definition,origin,division of tea,the different way of tea drinking in the two cultures,social etiquette and the different idioms about tea in the two cultures,it aims to discover the close connection between language and culture as well as the similarity and differences between Chinese and British culture.The study of a specific foreign or second language cannot be separated with its corresponding culture.The culture acquisition promotes the acquisition of the language.Besides,by learning the culture of the country that the target langue is studied and making comparison of target culture and the local culture,the EFL learners will know more about their own culture.The learning of language and the study of the corresponding culture not only have a very tight relationship but they also complement each other.
