聂塘寺早期彩塑造像风格讨论

摘    要:拉萨聂塘寺于公元1055年由阿底峡尊者的亲传弟子嘎瓦.释迦旺丘主持修建,是藏传佛教后弘期重要寺庙。寺内有诸多藏传佛教文物,其中佛教造像保存完整,成为研究11世纪造像风格的重要依据。文章通过对该寺的实地考察,以比较研究的方式着重讨论了聂塘寺无量寿佛殿的泥塑群造像风格,认为该佛殿中塑造有藏、汉、印三种风格样式的泥塑,应该是自桑耶寺乌孜殿建造三种造像风格样式以来,三种风格样式集于一处的典型范例之一,更是这种建造习俗逐渐衰微的见证。

On the Style of the Early Painted Sculptures in Nyetang Temple

Abstract:Nyetang Temple(commonly known as Netang Droma Lhakhang or Chor.Zug Lhakang) was built in the 11th century by a disciple of Master Atisha(982-1054),Karwa Shakya Wongchu.It is an important temple among those built in the Period of Latter Prosperity of Tibetan Buddhism.In the temple there are many Tibetan Buddhist relics,among them the intact Buddhist sculptures are important for the studies of the style of sculptures made in the 11th century.Based on the inspections on the spot,this article discusses the style of the sculptures in Amitayus Chapel in Nyatang Temple applying a comparative study.It is found that the sculptures in the chapel have three styles: Tibetan,Han,and Indian one.Therefore,it is another example of one chapel containing the sculptures with three different styles except Wuzi Chapel in Samye Monastery.And it shows this kind of chapels are gradually diminished.
