| Abstract: | We give the joint distribution of the latent roots,the distributions ofthe Iargest latent root and the trace of the noncentral quadratic form(Z'AZ)andthe distribution of the central quadratic form(X'AX),where A is a positive de-fine matrix and Z and X have elliptically contoured ditribution,thus generalizingthe relevent results of Khatri[5]and Hayakawa[2]. |
