摘    要:为了提高连续相位调制(CPM)方式下卫星通信系统发射功率的利用效率,提出了一种变指数连续相位调制系统方案.利用调制指数对CPM欧氏距离影响的原理,通过指数同步协议使用户终端的调制指数动态适应雨衰,从而达到尽可能利用发射功率的目的.对基于4进制2指数线性映射全响应CPM的具体设计方案的仿真表明:变指数CPM相对于传统的CPM具有更好的功率和带宽效率;在恶劣气候条件下,具有更好的连续通信能力.

Abstract:The sing le-h and mult i-h CPM( cont inuous phose modulat ion ) have been paid much attentionbecause of some of their good per formance, but how to make use of the alterat ion of modulat ion index( sing le-h) or index gro up ( mult i-h) to impro ve pow er eff iciency has never been studied in open literatur es.In contex t , a scheme of al terable modulat ion index CPM ( abbrev iated as AHCPM) system w as int roduced,w ith w hich the power of satellite communicat ion system could be ut ilized much better. T his system w asbased on the principle that modulat ion index co uld inf luence the euclidean distance of CPM, and madedif ferent user terminal s dynamically change modulat ion index or index group at the same t ime according torain fade by index synchronizat io n protocol. By simulat ing, the conclusion w as draw n that AHCPM cangain more data thr oug hput or pow er ef ficiency , and has bet ter ability of cont inuous communicat ion thanthe tr aditional CPM.
