Abstract:It is effective to employ heat pumps or heat Integration to save energy in distillation. In this paper,complete calculating methods based on the objective function of minimun loss in available energy are presented, and compaisons of energy saving efficiencies between the two methods are also given for the separation of aromatic hydrocarbons.
