| Abstract: | A general expression comprising some formulae with its numerical solutionis developed to describe mathematically the axial section of cutter for machi-ning various types of helicoids,based on computational geometry and mesh-ing engagement theory of helicoids.The method is proved time-saving andespecially suitable for computer-aided design and making. |
