Introduction of the Provenance Analysis of Heavy Mineral

Based on reading and summing up large number of literatures,this paper discusses in detail the heavy mineral analysis methods,and points out that using heavy mineral to make provenance analysis has its own superiorities and inevitable limitations,should connect with the concrete conditions of the research area and take the influences of tectonic uplift,denudation,detrital deposit and others into full consideration.
