| Abstract: | Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) oligomers have been synthesized from dehydrated sodium sulfide and p dichlorobenzene in hexamethylphosphorictriamide (HMPA) solvent under atmospheric pressure. The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, monomer ratio on the yeild, Tm, end group and molecular weights of PPS oligomers have been examined. |
