提出了一种以综合特征面概念为核心的有效特征表示模式及其系统数据结构，开发了相应的特征造型系统，该系统显式记录特征信息其相关属性而保留实体造型的灵活性；提供二维草图和三维参数化设计功能，提供对特征的编辑操作和特征的有效维护，提供约束机制和特征变换机制。

A Study on Feature Based Modelling System of Supporting CIM

Feature based modelling is one of the most promising method of realizing computer integrated manufacturing and concurrent engineering. In this method the key technology is to design a propor feature representation scheme to realize feature conversion mechanism. This paper proposed an effective feature representation scheme and developed a 3D feature based design system. Being able to support 2D drafting and 3D parametric design, feature operation and its validation maintenance, and constraint mechanism and feature conversion mechanism, the system has laid a prototype foundation for CIM and CE.
