摘    要:概述了从点-点线路至结点联成通信网和从多路技术至多址技术的发展过程,解释了光纤通信网发掘利用潜在容量以及建立未来高速通信网的关键问题.说明了波分多路/波分多址光纤通信使用的可调谐滤波器、可调谐激光管和光子集成的激光管阵列.着重解释光纤本身的色散与非线性特性对波分多路/波分多址系统运用的影响

Abstract:This paper briefly describes the extension of point to point communication link to node connected communication network and of multiplex to multiaccess technologies. After explaining how to exploit the huge potential capacity of the optical fiber in order to realize high bit rate communication, the paper describes the components used for the wavelength division multi access communication network, particularly the tunable filters and lasers as well as the multi wavelength laser array fabricated with photonic integrated circuit technique. Finally, the paper discusses the effect of fiber dispersion and non linear characteristics on the operation of multi access systems.
