摘    要:讨论了当平行光从任意可视方向照射到表面光滑的成像物体上时,由灰度在某一方向上恒定不变的图象唯一地恢复物体外形(SFS)的条件.通过对图象特性的讨论,将SFS唯一性问题分解到2个正交方向上讨论,提出了几个唯一性定理.定理的证明过程是构造性的,即在证明的同时指明了不使用合理化技术由单目图象恢复物体外形的可能途径

Abstract:This paper discusses the conditions for uniquely solving the shape from shading (SFS) problem of images with constant gray in some direction when these images are those of smooth surfaced objects under general direction illumination. From the study of the prop erties of such images, a discussion of the uniqueness of SFS is made in two orthogonal directions. Some uniqueness theorems have been established to extend the research results in this field. The proofs are constructive, that is: they themselves provide a possible way to uniquely recover the surface of a monocular imaged object with the absence of regularization technique.
