摘    要:介绍波分多址以太网无源光网络的系统结构以及相关光电子器件,报道了用于该系统上行传输信道的一种新型低成本的光发射模块。该模块采用新型外腔式精确波长激光器,具有波长自锁定功能。

Abstract:The system architecture of WDMA EPON and its optoelectronic devices were introduced. A novel optical transmitter module with low cost and precise wavelength for upstream path in WDMA-EPON system was presented. Based on the hybrid integration of standard FP LD with narrow band filter of DWDM,a kind of laser diode with precise wavelength was used without wavelength locker. This DWDM laser was used in the ONU transmitter module of WDMA-EPON system. The output power>0.4?mW,extinction ratio>10?dB,and the bit rate of upstream transmission from 52?Mbit/s up to 622?Mbit/s continuously were gotten and eye diagrams met the mask requirements of IEEE 802.3 and ITU-T G.957.
