| 摘 要： | 虚拟现实技术已经成为当前计算机科学与技术领域中研究、开发的热点。本文结合一些典型的虚拟现实系统综述了这一技术的研究内容和类型，较为深入地分析了它的技术特征──“沉浸感”及其组成要素，讨论了它的技术实质──人－计算机接口及其评价尺度；所列举的研究课题涉及到其中许多关键技术。

| Abstract: | irtual reality is being proposed as an advanced interface of human andcomputer. This article focuses on the understanding of the essence and nature of virtual reality technology. Starting with a review of brief historical background and development efforts in the field, the important aspects of virtual reality concepts are discussed. The definition and classfications are summarized. The illusion of immension which is the main characteristic of virtual reality, is analyzed. A kind of three--dimensional criteria is introduced to evaluate the performance of various virtual reality systems. Finally, some research topics related to design and implementation of virtual reality technology are presented. |
