| Abstract: | To develop green eco-residential zone is one of the important means for implementing sustainable urban development.This paper deals with the examination of the contents and procedures of the assessment scheme for green residential development with that of Chongqing as an example.It reveals the significant contribution from implementing the assessment scheme to the promotion of residential energy-saving.The assessment scheme promotes the application of green materials and green technologies in the lifecycle process of developing and operating residential buildings.This study provides valuable reference for further methods for residential energy-saving. |
