Abstract:Integrated theory and computer programs are developed systematically for the simulation of cooling of injection molds and parts. The mathematical models are built on the theory of thermodynamics mechanics and the reasonable assumptions. The combined numerical methods of Boundary Element Method and Finite Difference Method are applied to calculating the temperature profiles of molds and parts.
