甘肃妙因寺多吉强殿曼荼罗图像内容及其布局考述

妙因寺几座佛殿保存了大量壁画、唐卡和平棋曼荼罗作品。学术界已经就该寺建筑、壁画和唐卡等进行了深入研究,成果颇丰。但到目前为止,对该寺曼荼罗作品的研究却仅有几篇文章,研究侧重于万岁殿曼荼罗,对于多吉強殿和大经堂所存大量曼荼罗作品只做了简要描述。文章通过实地考察,结合汉藏文献对该寺多吉強殿平棋曼荼罗进行了内容识别和风格研究,认为该殿曼荼罗作品不仅历史久远,而且在内容和表现方法等方面均凸显了自身特色,具有较高的历史和艺术价值。

Research on the Content and Layout of Mandala Images in the Chapel of Vajradhara in Miaoyin Temple of Gansu Province,China

A large number of murals,Thangkas and Mandala images have been preserved in several chapels of Miaoyin Temple.Many in-depth researches have already been done on the temple’s architecture,murals and thangkas by the related academic circles and remarkable results have been achieved.However,so far there are only a very few articles on the study of the mandala images in the temple,and they focus only on the mandala images in the chapel of Longevity,the large number of mandala images in the chapel of Vajradhara and the assembly hall are only briefly introduced.On the basis of on-the-spot investigation and previous studies in combination with Han and Tibetan literature,the author has conducted a comprehensive study of the contents and styles of the mandala images in the chapel of Vajradhara.It is found that the mandala images in this chapel have a long history,and are unique in content and expression techniques,so they have high research value.
