A Study on the Problem of Venting-up-of Plastics Single Screw Vented Extruders

With the emphasis on design and operation aspects of two-stage single screw vented extruders,the cause of the occuring of probable measure to cope with the problem of venting-up is discussed in the paper. The discussion also covers the problem of how to set up the maximum-pumpout presure, Based on the study, on experimental machine was manufactured. The performance of the machine is briefly described.
