| Abstract: | New Hongxue" is essentially composed of the union of positivism approach and true records. Hu Shi explained the methodology of Qian-jia School with "scientific spirit" and the notion of true records in the traditional history with the words "Naturalism" and "autobiography". Positivism approach shows a kind of "scientific spirit", while the notion of true records an "anti-scientific spirit". |
