The Regularity of Erosion and Deposition in the Fuzhou Basin and the Disaster of River Flood

This paper points out in the recent years during the flood stage the regularity of erosion & deposition in the North-South channels is initiating to be altered obviously & the proportion of the amount of maximum flood discharge flowing into the North channel is beginning to be greater than that of the South channel & correspondingly the disaster of flood in Fuzhou would be more serious than before. Accordingly, the author also points out a fundamental way of overcoming the disaster, that is the combination of controlling & releasing the flood simultaneously.
