长周期光纤光栅的耦合模理论

摘    要:为了分析长周期光纤光栅的耦合机制和光栅特性,基于耦合模理论,对长周期光纤光栅中纤芯导模与包层模间的模式耦合进行了研究,推导出长周期光纤光栅的传输率、耦合系数等多个公式;基于Matlab软件编程,研究得到比较可行的长周期光纤光栅传输谱仿真模拟方法,模拟结果与实验观测相符。

Abstract:Devoted to analyzing the coupling mechanism and spectrum characteristics of long-period fibre grating (LPFG), this paper introduces the study of the mode coupling between guided core mode and cladding mode in LPFG, based on coupled-mode theory, and features resulting several formulas about LPFG, such as transmission rate, coupling coefficient, etc. The paper offers a simple method designed to simulate the spectrum through LPFG and through programming with Matlab software. The experimental result proves that the simulation result is right.
