马尾松和杉木管胞长度的变异

摘    要:<正>管胞长度在树干水平及垂直方向的变异,是林业科学吸引人的领域,一个多世纪以来,不断有人进行这方面的研究,但缺乏马尾松(Pinus massoniana Lamb.)和杉木(Cunning hamia lanceolata Hook.)的报道,补充这两个有代表性树种的资料是有意义的。由于马尾松木材大量用于造纸,本试验侧重这个树种,测定了不同产地的管胞长度,供纤维利用时参考。

VARIATIONS IN TRACHEID LENGTH IN MASSON PINE AND CHINESE FIR
Abstract:Radial variation in the tracheid length of both Pinus massoniana Lamb, and Cunninghamia lanceolata Hook, sampled from Nanping, Fujian, shows that it increases rapidly outwards from the pith within the first 10 years, then declines until the maximum length occurs between the 10th to 15th ring. Then it tends to renain stable or shows a little flactuation. No consistent difference between the southern radius and northern radius of the diametral strip was found in the tracheid length. Vertical tracheid length variation from the pith to the rings at various heights of both species in Guiyang, Guizhou, shows that it increases slightly upwords to the height of 9.3m, at which an apparent decrease occurs. The length of tracheids in masson pine taken from nine localilie in six province, including three natural stands and six plantations is determined, which is from 3.00 to 3.58mm.
