| Abstract: | The breeding practices of new drought resistant,stable yielded winterwheat varieties showed that the method to select drought resistant,stable -- yielded winter wheat varieties under semi-aird and semi-humid ecological conditions should be:On the basis of higher populations,improve spike weight by means of the improvementof thousand grain weight;choose materials which are superior in drought resistance andhigh productivity as parents,plant the early generations both in irrigated and nonirrigated nurseries,and select the offsprings alterrnatively in the two ecological conditions. |
