The Advantage of Backwardness of Chinese Traditional Culture

People often fall into a paradox condition when talking about Chinese traditional culture, however, if we deal with this problem with a zoom lens, we can get different sights of view. The function of west culture focuses on ＂being＂ and the Chinese culture pays more attention on ＂non-being＂ if we take it from the actual situation; meanwhile if we take it from a historical prospect, the advantage of western culture is ＂first＂ and Chinese ones is ＂late-comer＂; as to the rank location, the west culture is located on ＂the middle＂ as the Chinese culture scatter at ＂the high and low ends＂. Now China is becoming more powerful than before, but the material progress and the human being＇s spiritual temperament seems to be disproportionate, which is one of the most important reason why we chase the Chinese traditional culture.
