Abstract:A method based on 3 dimensional viscous flow analysis for the calculation of the theoretical head and hydraulic loss of the mixed flow pump is proposed. Together with other loss calculating methods, it can be used in performance prediction for the mixed flow pump and in hydraulic design optimization.
