Abstract:The magnetically levitated (MAGLEV) train is a new high speed transportation vehicle, which has been developed in the F. R. Germany. In this paper, the levitated control of the MAGLEV train is studied, and a simple mathematical model is given to describe the levitated system. According to the quadratic function, the Riccati controller is designed to realize optimal levitated control. Finally, our results are discussed and analysed,using root locus and simulation method.
