《蝇王》中的场景模式分析

摘    要:《蝇王》借用一群孩子在一个荒岛上的经历来探讨人性的恶这一严肃主题。所谓“场景模式”本来指的是《圣经》故事中某些固定的格局,它们在故事中重复出现,形成一个叙事类型。在威廉·戈尔丁的代表作《蝇王》之中,这种场景模式也同样存在,既有文本内的,也有互文性以及文化性的场景模式。正是在这些场景模式中场景的不断重复,不断变异,催生并丰富了小说的文化和思想内涵,确立该小说牢固的经典地位。

Abstract:Lord of the Flies explores the evil in human nature by using the experience of a group of children in an island. The so- called scene modes originally refer to some fixed patterns in the biblical stories, which is re- peated in the stories, forming a narrative type. In William Goldingg masterpiece, Lord of the Flies, also exist the scene modes, which include the mode within the text and intertextuality and cultural scene mode. It is the repeated scene modes and their continuous variation that create and enrich the cultural and ideological connotation of this no- vel and establish its solid classic status.
