Disadvantages and Harm of Education for Examination

The main disadvantages of education for examination are: taking a part as the whole, excluding other educations with intellectual education, dismembering curriculum system and lowering its scientificalness and completeness, paying attention to fostering a few top students but neglecting the most students, shifting off the pressure on school and teachers brought by all circles of the society, adding to the students' burden, and leaching modes and methods sticking to old rules. The existence of these defects seriously hindered the improvement of the students' quality of all aspects, made the students very hard in their all-round development, and greatly lowered the quality of education.
