语境与大学英语写作教学

Context and the Teaching of College English Writing

In the teaching of college English writing, teachers should teach students to write by using context. First, teachers should tell students various contextual knowledge needed in writing. Then they should instruct students to analyze the context of the discourses to be written. Through the analysis of inner-discourse context including the topic, the genre and the language form and outer-discourse context including the situational context and cultural context related to the author and the reader, students can write English discourses with rich contents and appropriate language and achieve their communication goal.
