| Abstract: | It has been found that p-toluene sulphonic acid w as superior to H2SO4w hen used ascatalystforesterification ofethylalcoholw ith succinic acid.The optim um reaction conditions in synthesis ofdiethylsuccinate catalyzed with p-toluene sulphonic acid w ere determ ined,w ith the yield at90.58% . |
