| Abstract: | Apoptosis is the ordered disassembly of cell from withi. Cell death in the absense of an inflammatory respones is the best way to distinguish apoptosis from necrosis. Cytosolic Aspartate-Specific Proteases, called CASPases, are responsibile for the deliberate disassembly of a cell into apoptotic bodies. The induction of apoptosis or progression through the process of apoptosis can be inhibited by a group of protein called inhibitors of apoptosis. |
