| Abstract: | A single-parameter family of conjugate gradient method for unconstrained optimization problem is introduced.Each iteration of the method generates a sufficient descent direction and chooses the step size by the general Wolfe-Powell line search condition.Under standard assumptions,global convergent results are proved. |
