Abstract: | This paper is concerned with the numerical solution, and with the detection of singularity for a singularly perturbed elliptic boundary value problems in two space dimensions. Specifically, a wavelet-collocation method is presented for a 2-D linear reaction-diffusion model. By using two-dimensional B-splinewavelet, we test the efficiency of the method.
