本文从词汇层面，对《爱情是谬误》的选文中运用的形容词、副词、动词、名词以及名词词组进行分类，例如形容词分为褒义词、贬义词、中性词，以此为根据，统计这些词的出现频率，以便更好发现作者是如何通过这些词性来塑造人物的性格以及叙述是否过于主观；在句子层面上，笔者探索选文中句子模式的变化以及修辞手法的运用对深化主题的意义；在叙述角度层面，探索选文的叙速是否可靠。
