| Abstract: | Summary A centric fusion of 2 acrocentric chromosomes in a female laboratory rat is described. The phenotype was normal. The new chromosome is submetacentric. Other animals of the same group showed such new chromosomes only sporadically. No information is available of chromosome mosaic, fertility or genetics of this animal. |
