History,Characteristics and Trend of the Development and Reformation of the British Higher Vocational Education

Britain is the first country to develop the higher vocational education which has undergone four historical stages.However,every historical stage has its developmental and reformation emphases and requirements.At the same time,it also shows the characteristics of three aspects,namely,to establish higher vocational system of multi-ways and multi-choices,strictly implement the system of professional qualification certificate and attach great importance to the cultivation of the key skills in higher vocational education.
