| Abstract: | Lu Xiangshan was an idealist of the Song Dynasty and the founder of Lu and Wang's theory of heart. In the argument with Zhu Xi, he put forward the doctrine that the heart is the noumenon of the universal world and stressed the unification of the heart and the reason. Wang Yangming, an idealist of the Ming Dynasty, inherited Lu Xiangshan's viewpoint. This article has introduced the main connotation of Lu and Wang's theory of heart. |
