| 摘 要： | 总结、分析了高校图书馆在西部大开发中的作用，指出高校图书馆是西部大开发的信息交流中心和人才培养基地，在此基础上，提出了高校图书馆应通过开发利用知识信息资源，充分发挥自身优势，积极开展素质教育，加大人才培养力度，为西部大开发提供全方位的服务。

| Abstract: | This paper sums up and analyzes on the functions of university library in western development, points out that the university library is an information exchanging center and a talent training base for western development, and based on this, puts forward that the university library should give full play to its self superiorities, carry out the quality education actively, strengthen the talents training, and provide all- round service for the western development through developing and utilizing knowledge and information resources. |
