| Abstract: | The Liuling Group in the Qinling is a suit of fine-clastic rocks, pclites interbedded with carbonates sediments. The Liuling Group of Shanyang region in Shaanxi Province includes middle Devonian Niuerchuan Formation, Chigou Formation and Qingshiyya Formation. Among them, the Qingshiya Formation developed a suit of tempestites which were deposited mainly on the shallow sea sheif area. The Tongyusi Formation which possessed the features of submarine fans deposits developed grain flows and turbidite current deposition.There are various indications that the Liuling Group belongs to the stable continental margin deposits of the north of the Yangtse plate. |
