摘    要:针对当前的定位管理策略消耗大量无线带宽资源的缺点,提出了一种基于记忆性的智能定位管理策略,比较了顺序寻呼和并行寻呼两种方法对策略性能的影响。由于寻呼开销和寻呼延迟之间存在折中关系,在执行 该定位管理策略时,系统可以根据用户的移动预测水平和对服务质量的要求灵活选择不同的寻呼方法,从而提高系统资源利用率和服务质量。理论分析和数值计算结果均表明,在液体流动运动模型下,该策略比传统定位策略节省了大量的无线带宽资源。

Abstract:A location management scheme using the historical records of user movements in cellular mobile communication systems is presented for the radio bandwidth resource consumption of current location strategies.The impacts of the sequential and parallel paging methods on the performance of this scheme are investigated and compared. A tradeoff exists between the paging overhead and paging delay, making the scheme flexible when selecting between the sequntial and parallel paging methods according to the mobility prediction accuracy and quality of service (QoS) to provide. As a result, the scheme can lead to higher resource utilization and better system performance. Analysis and numerical results show that the proposed scheme saves considerably the radio bandwidth resources under the fluid flow mobility model.
