| Abstract: | The ecological-economic system in the suburbs is a regional ecosystem com-plex. In the paper, the conceptural information theory and the quantitative ana-lysis of the integrated ecological approach are used in setting up indexes thatestablish the relationships between economic development and environmentalsuccession. The general principle and the paradigmatic numerical method of theecological-economic regionalization are suggested and put into practice in thesuburbs of Suzhou city. |
