邵雍美学思想述评

Commentary on Shao Yong''''s Aesthetic Ideology

Shao Yong's philosophical ideology is the typical cognition of complementary Confucianism and Taoism.His world outlook and theory of knowledge carried the form of Taoism philosophy,whereas his theory of human nature and ethics took Confucianism ideas as its core. Shao Yong greatly promoted the social and moral function of art, which inherited Confucian aesthetic tradition.On the other hand,he was fascinated with singing of human nature and was not restrained by it ,which spoke the ideas of Tao aesthetic ideology.On the whole,his regards for the Way of Nature and his promotion in cleansing one's spirit composed the two sides of his ideology.His profound and complex theory had an important impact on the development of Chinese classical aesthetics.
