| 摘 要： | 通过对目标语的语言特征分析探讨翻译方法是一种常见的翻译研究形式。商务合同是一种严肃的法律公文，具有文体正式、用词准确明晰、格式化的结构和表达等特点。因此，在汉英翻译商务合同的过程中，应遵循“忠实原义，直译为主，慎重选词、力求准确，符合规范、合理调整”的基本思路。

| Abstract: | This paper attempts to discuss how business contract should be translated from Chinese into English, after a linguistic observation in its target language. Business contract, as a legal document, bears intensive legibility in meaning with formal style and distinct formulation in structure. Hence, the C/E translation should comply with the principles of "faithfulness in meaning, exactness in diction and correctness in form with literal translation and necessary adjustment". |
