美与善的统一与不统一

摘    要:回到中国古代美学立场较易说清问题。我们民族从生命的角度把握美,认定美感是生命力的对接。最初“美与善同意”。后来两者都发展出新意义。在某些层次上可以不统一,但在深层意义上依旧统一。统一的根据是:形式只有能和人的生命活动相应时才是美的,而美的形式可以调校和提升生命,故也是善的。中国古代生命哲学更重族类生命,由此谈善,然而思想家各善其所善,且生命不断展开,因而会出现美与善不统一的情况。

Abstract:Our nation seeks for beauty from life and firmly believes the sense of beauty is equivebeat to life vitality. Originally, the beautiful and the good accorded with each other. Later, they developed with new conteants. To a certain extent, they seemingly shared no unity. However, in the deeper sense, they were always unified. The basis for this unity is that forms are considered beauty only when they are applied to life activities while beautiful forms can be adjusted and sublimated, thus can also stand for the good. The clan life, the original view of beauty, was emphasized in the Chinese ancient life philosophy. Different thinker cherish the good differently. Therefore, the ununity of the good and the beauty exists.
