| Abstract: | This paper, based on four types of texts, analyses the image of Japan in the eye of Westerners and points out that their impression is a combination of Westerners' particular values and Japanese's psychology of catering to the West. It is analogy of cultural conflict between China and the West, to which, is embedded in the wave of globalization, we need to keep an alert mind. |
