论翻译中译文读者的地位与作用

翻译研究一直以原文作者、译者和翻译标准为重点,很少涉及译文读者。提出翻译实质上是不同语言之间的跨文化交际行为,译文读者作为译作最终的接受对象在翻译过程中占有特殊地位,译文读者的要求对翻译实践有着能动的指导作用。建议无论是翻译理论研究还是翻译实践,都把读者因素置于重要地位。

On Role and Effect of Target Text Readers in Translation

The role of translator and the standard of translation have always been the focus of translation study, whereas little attention has been paid to the target text (TT) readers. As translation in nature is cross-culture communicative behavior, the TT readers, in the whole process of translation, are in a special position and their requirements actively guide the translator's work. Therefore, both in theoretical study and in practice of translation, the TT readers should be taken into account.
