| Abstract: | Ethyl hydrogen azelate was synthesized using castor oil as the feed stock by the esterification reaction of azelaic acid with diethyl azelate . The structures of compounds were identified by IR and ^1HNMR . The effects of reaction time and temperature on transcsterfication reaction were discussed. |
