做好评估工作,推动教学工作再上新台阶

我国从2003年起开始对所有普通高等学校教学工作进行全面评估,通过评估逐步建立和完善高校自我发展自我约束的机制,从而不断提高教学质量和办学效益。如何抓住评估这一历史机遇,以评估为契机,推动本科教学工作再上新台阶,是高校当前需要认真研究的课题。本文以当前高等教育发展与改革的主题和评估工作的重要性为基点,探讨如何开展高等教育评估工作和高校如何利用评估提高教学质量的一些问题。

Promote the NTA and Enhance the Teaching Efficiency

Ever since 2003, the National Teaching Assessment (NTA) has been carried out national wide among all universities and colleges. By means of the NTA, the goal of building up and improving the mechanism for the self-development and self-discipline the higher education institutions could be gradually achieved, thus en- hancing their teaching efficiency and social prestige. Therefore, it should be the top priority for all universities to seize the chance of NTA and promote their education quality through the platform of NTA. The thesis, based on the analysis of the im- portance of NTA, elaborates some issues like how to carry out the NTA and how to better the teaching quality through the NTA.
