多媒体教学在英语课堂教学中的应用

现代社会的不断发展对我国英语学习者的要求越来越高,而传统的英语课堂教学又有着这样那样的弊端,可喜的是,现代信息技术渗入教育领域,多媒体教学弥补了这一缺陷。本文主要讨论了多媒体的优势以及英语课堂教学中运用多媒体要注意的几点原则。教师只有把握好其辅助性的原则,将现代信息技术与英语课程有效地整合,才能实现课堂教学的创新和教学方式的根本转变,进而体现现代英语课堂的最终要求——培养学习者的交际能力。

The Application of Computer Assisted Instruction in English Classroom Teaching

The continuous development in modem society requires more to the English learners in China, but the traditional English teaching has manydisadvantages, which fails to meet this need. Luckily the computer assisted instruction can make up with the flaw for the modem information technology has been put into use inthe education field. Therefore, this paper mainly discusses the superiorities of computer assisted inst -ruction in English classroom teaching and the principles of its application in English classroom teaching. In short, only when teachers can hold the principle of assistance and make conformity of modem information technology and English course, can they put forward the reform of English teaching strategies to accomplish the requirement of modem English classroom teaching, that is, to cultivate learners' communication abilities.
